Exploring Sustainability on Planet Blue is a series of monthly dialogues with key thought-leaders from within the university on issues related to sustainability. These will follow a relaxed and conversational interview-style format with deep intellectual content. All events are scheduled from 5:00-6:30pm.

NOTE: Invitations are emailed to U-M faculty, are non-transferable, and registration is required. U-M faculty, student or Erb community members with sustainability interests who are not included on the invitation distribution list should contact us if they would like to be added.

Tuesday, January 29: Barry Rabe

Barry Rabe is a Professor of Public Policy in the Ford School and also holds appointments in the School of Natural Resources and Environment and the Program in the Environment. Event details to follow

Tuesday, February 26: Marie Lynn Miranda

Marie Lynn Miranda is the dean of the School of Natural Resources and Environment. She also holds an appointment as professor in SNRE and in the Department of Pediatrics. Event details to follow

Tuesday, March 26: Andrew Maynard

Andrew Maynard is the Interim Chair of the department of Environmental Health Sciences, the Charles and Rita Gelman Risk Science Professor at the University of Michigan School of Public Health, and the Director of the University of Michigan Risk Science Center.  Andrew’s work focuses on the responsible development and use of emerging technologies, and on innovative approaches to addressing emergent risks. Event details to follow
