JOOL

Marianna facilitates positive behavior change using human-centered design to benefit human health, the environment, and society. Marianna is currently a Strategic Account Manager at JOOL, where she enables end-users to find and live out their life purpose.

Prior to Erb, Marianna worked for Google and Nationwide Insurance, where she gained a broad-ranged business skill set, including strategy, finance, investments, risk management, sales and marketing.

While at the Erb Institute, Marianna redirected this skill set toward creating social good. She launched an online marketplace for ethically made clothing. She also co-founded Women Who Launch, a student group working to create gender equal entrepreneurial ecosystems. Marianna has been recognized for her leadership with the Forte Fellowship, the Dow Fellowship for Sustainability, the Percy Community Service Award, the Mondry Scholarship and the Weiser Family Cause-Based Entrepreneurial Leadership Award.

Marianna earned her BA in Economics and International Studies at University of Chicago. She is a proud Finn and uses any excuse to include an anecdote about Finland in her conversations. When not launching a new idea, she is most likely found in a kitchen creating large feasts for friends.
