Adding climate change to the MBA core curriculum

Erb Director, Andy Hoffman helped organize last week’s Washington D.C. National Academy of Sciences conference to bring critical leaders and faculty together to discuss adding climate change to the MBA core curriculum. According to the Climate Wire story, “…business educators roundly acknowledged that climate change will present both challenges and opportunities for their students but debated the extent to which it should factor into the MBA curriculum.” Valerie Suslow, Associate Dean and Professor at Ross School of  Business asserted that “Students have the power,”  explaining that MBA candidates at her university have already convinced professors to use case studies that deal with sustainability.
